The Water-Wastewater Engineering Department team consists of eight full time staff including the Superintendent; the Engineering Administrative Assistant; three Project managers; and three Geographic Information System (GIS) professionals.

They are responsible for, or support a wide range of activities including evaluating, planning, organizing, and managing capital projects such as design and construction of pipelines, pump stations, water treatment and wastewater treatment plant facilities; GIS mapping and GIS data base maintenance and management; building permit review and approval; subdivision plat review and approval; work order management; and customer service.
