INVITATION TO BIDDERS

The Electric Division of Bowling Green Municipal Utilities request sealed Bids on Steel Poles as shown in the Bid Information and Price Form attached.  Please submit this form (or its duplicate) supplying all information as requested for each size pole.  Please mark envelope “BID REPLY-STEEL POLES” to ensure against premature opening.  Bids may be mailed to:

No fax or email bids will be accepted.

All bids will be opened and publicly read and recorded at the Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, 801 Center Street, Bowling Green, Kentucky at 2:00 p.m. local time on July, 09, 2009.  All bidders may attend the bid opening if desired.

All prices shall include freight charges to BGMU’s pole yard.  Expected delivery times

shall also be provided on the bid sheet.

All bids must be good for sixty (60) days from the bid opening date.  Please note any exceptions taken from these specifications.

Bowling Green Municipal Utilities reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids or to accept the lowest bid or lowest evaluated bid.  All bids shall be evaluated on the following criteria: Cost, Qualifications/Experience, Past Record with BGMU, References, Timeliness, Compliance with Bid Specifications, Quality of Materials, Financial Stability, and Compliance with Law.
