Network Operations Center Along with BGMU’s current operations center; BGMU will open and operate its primary Network Operations Center at Western Kentucky University’s Center for Research & Development (www.wku.edu) located at the newly renovated old Mall on Nashville Road. In addition BGMU is working with the Central Region of the Innovation & Commercialization Center (www.iccky.com) to provide world-class scalable Data & Technology services to up and coming ‘New Economy’ entrepreneurs at ICC’s Business Incubator located in the same facility. BGMU will leverage this regional economic development effort by offering world-class technology services to the existing Bowling Green business community. As part of the overall plan for its Fiber Optic Network and NOC, a design council will be formed from local industry leaders and technology users for consultation and input for the overall design and function. This council will be involved to insure that the long-term future of the NOC will tie into the economic development of the overall Bowling Green Region.
