Ethernet Virtual LAN Connectivity • With BGMU’s Ethernet VLAN Services you can connect your companies multiple sites using our SONET Network. With this Technology, redundancy is provided due to the nature of SONET. Bandwidths can vary from 1.544 Mbps to 100Mbps according to your company’s needs. Bandwidth is allocated starting at 1.544Mbps and incremented in 64K increments. With Ethernet switching you get what you pay for - dedicated bandwidth. Internet Connectivity • BGMU offers two methods ( Ethernet and traditional T-1) to connect your business to the Internet. Our network connects to the Internet via direct multi-vendor redundant fiber optic connections. Your business is guaranteed reliable upstream and downstream high-speed connectivity. • Ethernet 100BaseT - Your Company can connect to the Internet with simple lower cost Ethernet protocols. Ethernet connectivity is an ubiquitous and much more scalable method to connect to the Internet that eliminates equipment that can add cost and can be difficult to configure and maintain. With this service, future needs are available using Ethernet ports that can easily be configured at any bandwidth speed up to 100 Mbps. • T-1 Connectivity - Although we believe T-1 technologies are declining in popularity due to its inflexibility, BGMU does offer these services which may be desirable under certain circumstances; you can have an Internet connection of 1.544 Mbps data rate with full redundancy, using our SONET technology. T1 Internet services require a customer provided Router for interface to the network.
